Take a Bite Out of COVID-19: Eat Healthy with Deliveries from Your Local Farmers
Stressed out about COVID-19? While we all need to do our part to flatten the curve, it doesn’t mean getting stuck with buying whatever is still remaining on grocery shelves, frozen items or canned/dry goods. One thing you still have control over is what you buy and eat - local, farm-fresh, nutrient dense foods that will help keep you and your family healthy and strong.
We have collected a list of resources below to order directly from local farmers and food producers. Many are local farmer collaboratives, so every penny you spend goes directly back to the growers and food producers as well as the local economy. Several also accept SNAP / EBT benefits.
And while you are enjoying a bite out of that fresh, just-picked carrot, think about keeping our local farmers and food producers healthy and strong as well. You can support them by placing orders & tipping well, signing up for CSAs, purchasing gift cards, or simply donating to these local businesses to keep them running. We will share a list on how you can help later this week. In the meantime, we give you permission to stress shop :)
Information below was updated on Tuesday, March 24, 2020. We will try to keep this list as accurate as possible. Please always check the actual ordering website or their social media page (links included) for the most up to date information.
