National Farmers Market Week, celebrated every first week of August, is from August 4 to 10 this year, is a great opportunity to celebrate the growth and impact of farmers markets and their vital role in America’s food supply chain.

Mass Farmers Markets are featuring week-long special events at all five of our markets, bringing our communities together to celebrate this moment at our markets. Take a look of the following, and find out what’s happening at your market! All events are free and open to everyone.

Youth Grown Tomato Contest

Global Musician Workshop

Event Details: Experience a culinary adventure at the @FishandFarmMarket on the Boston Fish Pier! Watch Chopped Champion Chef Yousef Ghalaini from the Omni Hotel as he takes on a mystery seafood challenge. Chef Ghalaini will shop the market and whip up a locally inspired dish right before your eyes + offer samples! This event is free and all are welcome.
