Mass MarketCubes

MarketCubes were used at multiple winter farmers markets during the pandemic, ensuring that shoppers had safe access to fresh local food.

Looking to boost your food business with an outdoor location? Consider renting Mass MarketCubes, a dynamic solution brought to you by Mass Farmers Markets and PlacePractice. Since 2020, these outdoor kiosks have been used by farmers markets, farms and small businesses across Massachusetts.

After a devastating fire that destroyed their barn and farm store, Red Fire Farm was able to bounce back for the season by setting up produce displays and their PYO station inside MarketCubes.

How can you use MarketCubes?

  • Winter farmers market stand: Expand the footprint of your winter farmers market by setting up additional vendors in MarketCubes. MarketCubes protect vendors from the elements and can be disassembled at the end of the season.

  • Farmstand: Looking for a quick way to display and sell produce at your farm? MarketCubes can be used to sell produce, set up a CSA collection point, or as a homebase for a Pick Your Own experience.

  • Small business incubator: MarketCubes are a great place to start your small food business, without the investment required of a brick-and-mortar business.
